ORAL ORDER

The limited prayer in the present writ petition is to direct the trial Court to dispose of O.S.No.3669/2020 expeditiously.

The suit is one for declaration and possession. It is submitted that the suit is presently at the stage of cross-examination of the plaintiff’s witness.

On perusal of the order sheet, this Court finds no justifiable reason for the delay in adjudication of the suit. In that view of the matter, this Court is inclined to make limited interference.

The trial Court is directed to expedite the disposal of O.S.No.3669/2020 and conclude the same within a period of eighteen months' from the next date of hearing, avoiding unnecessary adjournments.

With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
