This petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition imposed by the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram in Crl.M.P.No.431 of 2024 dated 28.03.2024, in respect of executing blood sureties.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted bail by the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Kancheepuram in Crl.M.P.No.431 of 2024 on 28.03.2024 with a condition to execute two blood related sureties, whereas, the petitioner's parents are no more. Hence, he seeks for modification of the condition.
Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel of the petitioner, the condition imposed by the trial Court in Crl.M.P.No.431 of 2024 on 28.03.2024 in respect of the sureties is modified to the effect that “the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur”. It is made clear that all other conditions remain unaltered.
With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition stands ordered.
