Heard Ms. Julekha Khan, learned counsel appearing for the applicants and Mr. Th. Vashum, learned GA appearing for the respondents.
The present application has been filed with the prayer for allowing impleadment of the Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited represented by its Managing Director as respondent No. 4 in the connected WP(C) No. 197 of 2025.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the applicants that impleadment of the said proposed respondent No. 4 is very much necessary as the petitioner No. 2 is an employee under the Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited and that without impleading the said respondent No. 4, no effective reliefs can be granted.
Mr. Th. Vashum, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that he has no objection in allowing the present impleadment application.
In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this court is of the considered view that impleadment of the said respondent No. 4 is very much necessary.
Accordingly, the present application is allowed.
Registry is directed to incorporate the name of the Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited represented by its Managing Director as respondent No. 4 in WP(C) No. 197 of 2025.
With the aforesaid direction, the present application stands closed.
