Judgment
This instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondents for quashing and setting aside a notice dated 28.11.2024, whereby final selection list of 21 successful candidates for appointment in the post of Pharmacist has been shown, and further directions for preparation of the select list on the basis of District wise merit.
In the course of the proceedings however, the respondents have produced the official records which is also noted by this Court vide order dated 16.09.2026, which contains an undertaking dated 28.04.2025, whereby the petitioner had accepted the appointment of Pharmacist. This fact it appears was not to the knowledge to the counsel appearing for the petitioner, who appeared on the last date and had sought time to obtain instructions.
In the considered view of this Court therefore, as the grievance of the writ petitioner has since been redressed, as he has been appointed as Pharmacist during the pendency of the writ petition, nothing remains for consideration. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed and disposed of.
Copy of the undertaking and related records are taken on board and made part of the record.
