Judgment
Learned Government Advocate submits that as per his instructions, no pension case is now pending in the Directorate of School Education &
Literacy.
Learned CGC submits that as per his instructions only eleven recently received cases are pending in AG office and else, all other matters have
been cleared.
Taking note of the submissions so made, this Court is satisfied that the concerned departments have now taken corrective measures and are
proceeding expeditiously with pension cases. On earlier occasions, this Court was required to make observation against the insensitive approach
on the part of the concerned departments who kept the pension cases pending for abnormally long length of time.
So far as the petitioner is concerned his case has already been settled and in view of the positive steps by the concerned departments, it appears
appropriate to terminate the proceedings in this matter while expecting that the concerned departments shall maintain the same spirit of
expeditiousness in future while dealing with the pension matters. With the observations foregoing, the proceedings in this contempt matter are
closed. Notice are discharged.
