Heard learned counsel for the respective parties.

The instant C.P. has been filed by the applicant making a grievance of non-compliance of order dated 19.10.2023, whereby the following interim relief had been granted to him:

“(i) The UPSC (R-1) is directed to allow the applicant to participate provisionally in the interview process to be held for the post of Joint Secretary (Banking, Insurance and Pension);

(ii) The UPSC (R-1) shall, however, keep the result of the applicant in a sealed cover and the same shall not be opened without prior leave of this Court.”

Learned counsel for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), on instructions, makes a statement that interviews for the post in question are scheduled to take place on 17.11.2023 and the applicant will be allowed to participate in the interview process in pursuance of the aforesaid interim directions. Statement accepted.

In light of the above, nothing survives for our consideration. The C.P. is accordingly closed.
