S. Siri Jagan, J.—The petitioners are employees who entered Government service after putting in military service. According to them, as per Exts.P.8, P9 and P10 judgments, such prior military service is liable to be reckoned for the purpose of fixing higher grade due to the petitioners. In the above circumstances, the petitioners have filed Ext. P12 series of representations before 3rd respondent. The petitioners seek a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider Ext.P12 series of representations in the light of Exts.P8 to P10 judgments.

I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:

The 3rd respondent shall consider and pass orders on Ext.P12 series of representations as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. While considering the representations, the 3rd respondent shall consider the applicability of Exts. P8 to P10 judgments to the petitioners'' case.
