S. Siri Jagan, J.—The petitioners are employees who entered Government service after putting in military service. According to them, as per Exts. P.7, P8 and P9 judgments, such prior military service is liable to be reckoned for the purpose of fixing higher grade due to the petitioners. In the above circumstances, the petitioners have filed Ext. P11 series of representations before respondents 3 and 4. The petitioners seek a direction to respondents 3 and 4 to consider Ext. P11 series of representations in the light of Exts. P7 to P9 judgments.

I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:

The 3rd respondent shall consider and pass orders on Exts. P11(2) (3) and (4) representations and the 4th respondent shall consider and pass orders on Ext. P11(1) representation, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. While considering the representations , the 3rd and 4th respondents shall consider the applicability of Exts. P7 to P9 judgments to the petitioners'' case.
