Judgment

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the Court below dated 26.02.2024, canceling the suspension of sentence granted in favour of the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner did not comply with one of the condition that has been imposed by directing the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amount.
Heard Mr.R.Ganesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and carefully perused the materials available on record.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the reasons assigned by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the time granted to the petitioner is extended for a period of one week from today to deposit the 20% of the compensation amount. It is made clear that no further extension of time will be granted. If the petitioner deposits the amount within the time extended by this Court, the earlier order passed by the Court below in Crl MP No.30654 of 2023 dated 29.11.2023 will stand revived. If the petitioner fails to deposit the amount within the time stipulated by this Court, the cancellation order dated 26.02.2024 shall stand revived and in which event, the petitioner will be secured and made to undergo the sentence imposed by the Trial Court.
This Criminal Original petition is disposed of in the above terms.
