The petitioner came forward with a writ petition bearing his claim which was meant to be entertainable under SRO 520 of 2017 relatable to donation of land by him in reciprocation of employment regularization.
Writ petition-WP(C) No. 475/2022 came to be disposed of by this Court by an order dated 10.03.2022 without getting into merits of the matter by taking care of the fact that the petitioner had approached the authorities concerned with a representation which was not getting considered and, therefore, this Court directed the writ respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of six weeks. However, despite the fact that the petitioner is said to have brought the fact of disposal of the writ petition in the manner as stated therein to the notice of the writ respondents, nothing happened at their end as a result whereof the petitioner has come forward with the present contempt petition.
Given the fact that this Court did not enter into the merits of the writ petition and further that the time which has intervened from the date of passing of an order dated 10.03.2022 and filing of the present contempt petition as such this Court deems it fit not to entertain the contempt petition leaving it free to the petitioner herein to file a fresh writ petition for sake of enabling him to agitate his cause as was agitated in the writ petition-WP(C) No. 475/2022 on merits rather than leaving it for the respondents to take a decision.
Accordingly this contempt petition is closed by reserving right to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition on the same very cause of action for which writ petition-WP(C) No. 475/2022 was so filed.
