Judgment

As per the report of the Officer-in-charge / Registrar (Judicial) of High Court Legal Services Committee, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, the petitioner and respondents have not appeared before the Officer-in-charge of the Registrar (Judicial) on 19.07.2023 as directed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the defacto complainant submit that on account of communication gap, the petitioner and defacto complainant failed to appear before the High Court Legal Services Committee.
At request of the petitioner and respondents, both the parties are further directed to appear before the High Court Legal Services Committee on 08.08.2023.
In view of the above, the Officer in-charge of the High Court Legal Services Committee is directed to verify the identity of the defacto complainant and the accused person with the aid of Aadhar card or any other recognised identity cards and also ensure that the latest photograph of the defacto complainant and the accused on the memo of compromise. Further, the respondent police are also directed to be present and identify the defacto complainant and accused. After establishing identity, the Officer-in-charge is directed to inquire, informally, as to whether there is any force or coercement on either of the parties compelling them to compromise and send the report by 14.08.2023.
The parties are directed to appear before the Officer in-charge, High Court Legal Services Committee on 08.08.2023 and for filing the report, list on 14.08.2023.
