By way of present petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following main relief(s):

“i. That Annexure P-5 may be set aside/quashed and the petitioner may be given higher pay scale on UHF pattern, as has been awarded to other

similarly situated Technical Assistants Grade-I, from the due date, after completion fo 8 years service which is admissible to the petitioner with all the

benefits incidental thereof and the latest pay scale w.e.f. 1.1.2016 is 15600-39100 with grade pay Rs.6600/- per month which is admissible to the

petitioner, on completion of eight years service w.e.f. 5.3.2016.â€​

Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, while referring to the reply filed by the respondents, fairly states that since the agenda for grant of 3

tier pay scale to the petitioner is to be placed before the Board of Management (BoM) in the ensuing meeting, present petition can be disposed of with

a direction to the respondent-University to convene a meeting of its BoM in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the respondents is not averse to the aforesaid innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner.

Consequently, in view of above, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to place the agenda for grant of 3-tier pay scale to

the petitioner, before the BoM, expeditiously, preferably within four weeks. Needless to say, the BoM shall consider and decide the agenda, as

referred to above, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the proposal/agenda from the competent

Authority.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms, alongwith all pending applications.
