Civil writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing result (Annexure P/5).

Brief facts of the case leading to the filing of the writ petition are that the respondent advertised various posts of PGT, HES-II, Group-B in the

department of Secondary Education Haryana. Petitioner also submitted the application for the same and underwent the selection process. As per the

result initially declared Annexure P/5 dated 10.02.2017, the petitioner was not called for interview on account of not having secured the cut off marks.

However, pursuant to orders of this Court dated 13.11.2018 in CWP No.2737 of 2017, answer key of the written examination for the post of PGT

(History) rest of Haryana was revised, as a result of which, some more candidates were called for interview including the petitioner who is stated to

have secured 106 marks. Thereafter, the petitioner who was called for interview pursuant to the orders of this Court was provisionally interviewed

and his result has been produced in sealed cover before this Court. The same has been opened and on perusal thereof, it reveals that the petitioner has

secured 128 marks out of 200 marks as against the cut of 125 marks of BCB category of last candidate selected.

In the light of the position as noted above, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for

appointment on merit in accordance with law.

Writ petition is disposed of in the aforementioned terms.
