Judgment

Mr.Juno Rahman, learned counsel appears on behalf of the Cavetor in Caveat No.222 of 2023. Since WP(C) No.929 of 2023 of 2023 is filed with respect to the Caveat, the same is discharged.
Heard Mr.N.Jotendro, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr.Syed Murtaza, learned counsel or the petitioner and Ms.R.K.Emily, learned Dy. Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and Mr.Juno Rahman, learned counsel for the caveator/respondent Nos.5 and 6.
The petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved with the common transfer order dated 15.12.2023 passed by the Joint Secretary, Social Welfare (SW), Government of Manipur transferring 27 incumbents. The petitioner, whose name appears at Sl.No.21 prayed to this Court for modifying the transfer order and for permitting him to remain in his original place of posting. On 22.12.2023, the petitioner joined to his new posting at Kamjong and thereafter, the petitioner submitted representation dated 26.12.2023 to the Commissioner/Secretary, Social Welfare, Government of Manipur through proper channel for reviewing/modifying the common transfer order dated 15.12.2023 with respect to him.
During course of hearing, Mr.N.Jotendro, learned senior counsel submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by issuing an innocuous order to the respondents to consider the representation by a speaking order within a stipulated time.
Mr.S.Nepolean, learned Government Advocate assisted by Ms.R.K.Emily, learned Dy. Government Advocate for the State and Mr.M.Rendy, learned counsel for respondent Nos.5 and 6 have no objection, provided this Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case.
Recording this, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.1 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 26.12.2023 submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order within a period of 30 (thirty) days from the date of receipt of this order.
It is clarified that this Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case.
With the above observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
Furnish a copy of this order to learned counsel for the parties, in course of the day.
