Judgment

This Criminal Petition, under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ( for short “CrPC”), is filed seeking to release the petitioner/A.2 on bail in crime No.66 of 2022 of Rampachodavaram police station.
It is alleged that on 18.04.2022 at about 3.00 PM near Chadala Ramayamma Cashew Garden, Rampachodavaram, the petitioner/A.2 and others were found transporting 100 KGs of Ganja containing in five Polythin bags in Commander Jeep bearing Registration No.AP26AG 1503. Thereupon, police arrested them and seized the contraband and cell phones from their possession.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the investigation is completed in the subject crime and charge sheet is also filed, and the petitioner was remanded on 18.04.2022 and since then he is in jail.
Learned Additional Public Prosecutor conceded that police laid charge sheet.
Perused the record. The petitioner was arrested on 18.04.2022 and since then he is in jail. He completed 184 days of custody. Entire investigation is completed and charge is also filed. In view of the aforesaid circumstances, this Court is of the view that request of the petitioner for grant of bail can be considered, but on conditions.
Therefore, the petitioner shall be released on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Rampachodavaram.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any pending shall stand closed.
