Notice on behalf of the respondents accepted by Shri Dubey. Looking to the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner matter is heard finally.

Petitioner has sought following reliefs :

i) To issue an appropriate writ order and direction commanding the respondents to renew the license of petitioner as per Ann. P/2 by giving specific time to the respondent No. 3.

ii) Any other relief which this hon''ble Court deems fit and proper may also be passed together cost of the petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact petitioner has applied for grant of license under Regulation for Licensing and Controlling Place of Amusement Act No. 22/1951. The application is pending before the respondent No. 2 the Collector cum District Magistrate and the authorities be directed to decide the application expeditiously.

Learned counsel appearing for the State has no objection if the petitioner files an appropriate application before District Magistrate cum Collector for expeditious hearing of the application which shall be considered and decided by the authorities expeditiously.

Considering the contention of the parties this petition stands finally disposed of with the following directions :-

i) Petitioner may file an appropriate application for expeditious hearing of the pending application for license before respondent No. 2.

ii) Alongwith the application, petitioner shall enclose copy of his previous applications and all necessary documents for reference of the Collector cum District Magistrate.

iii) Respondent No. 2 on receiving the aforesaid application, shall hear and decide the application in accordance with law expeditiously as far as possible within a period of 3 months from the date of filing of the said application.
