Sathish Ninan, J.

1.

Petitioner is undergoing B.Sc Physics Decree course in Sir Syed College affiliated to the 1st respondent University. The 6th semester examinations is scheduled to commence from 28/03/2023(tomorrow). Since the petitioner is short of attendance, she is not being permitted to appear for examinations by the College. She has approached this Court seeking a direction to consider Ext.P1 application submitted before the University for condonation of shortage of attendance.

2.

Heard, Sri.M.Anuroop, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.I.V.Pramod, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent University.

3.

The learned Standing Counsel points that Ext.P1 is not in the prescribed format nor is it accompanied by prescribed fee. He also points out that applications for condonation of attendance shortage ought to be submitted as and when the examinations are notified and not at this stage. The examinations are scheduled to commence tomorrow.

Taking note of the facts as above, this Court is not inclined to exercise jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution.

The writ petition stands dismissed.
