Judgment
M. Jaichandren, J.—The Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first Respondent to grant 3 days (11.11.2010 to 13.11.2010) emergent Parole leave to the Petitioner''s brother S. Veeranasamy @ Veera, S/o. Soundrapandi, who has been detained in the Central Prison, Madurai, for attending his brother''s marriage which is to be held, on 12.11.2010, from 6.00 a.m. to 7.45 a.m., at Arulmighu Meenakshiamman Temple, Madurai.
Mr. K.M. Vijaya Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader takes With the consent of the learned Counsels appearing on either side, notice on behalf of the Respondents.
With the consent of the learned Counsels appearing on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, and in view of the submissions made by the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the Petitioner, as well as the Respondents, the Respondents are directed to permit the Petitioner''s brother, namely, S. Veeranasamy @ Veera, detained in the Central Prison, at Madurai, to attend his brother''s marriage, which is to be held on 12.11.2010, between 6.00 a.m. to 7.45 a.m., at Arulmighu Meenakshiamman Temple, Madurai, and thereafter, to go to his house at 70/B, Muthu Compound, Opposite to Kapal''s House, Flower Bazaar, Madurai-9. In any event, he shall be brought back to the Central Prison, Madurai, by 5.00 p.m, on 12.11.2010. He shall be escorted by two armed escorts, till he is brought back to the Central Prison, Madurai, on 12.11.2010.
With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
