The Court

1.

The letter dated 18th January. 2002, from Adivasi Agronomy Reformation Society, has been treated as writ petition (PIL) because the Issues involved therein concern public at large. Mr. Rajiv Ranjan, Advocate, has undertaken to act as amicus curiae and render assistance to the Court. In the discharge of his obligations, he may contact such Government officials/ agencies, as he thinks, are appropriate including the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest. Jharkhand, or any other officer of the Forest Department including the D.F.O. of the concerned Division. All such Officers are directed to render every assistance and provide all facilities to Mr. Rajiv Ranjan.

Mrs. Shubha Jha. Advocate, at this stage has offered her services as well. The offer of Mrs. Jha is accepted. Site may associate herself with Mr. Rajiv Ranjan in whatever manner or capacity both of them decide in mutual consultation.

Learned Advocates may file their detailed report in the light of the letter dated 18th January. 2002, and suggest such action as are required and warranted.

Let the matter appear on 19th February. 2002.

Let a copy of this order be given both to Mr. Rajiv Ranjan and Mrs. Shubha Jha. Advocates.
