These petitions have been taken through Video Conferencing in view of the guidelines of the High Court taking into account the situation arising due to COVID-19 pandemic.
I.A. No.6815 of 2021 has been filed in Company Petition No.16 of 2015 for extension of time for deposition of demand draft as per the order dated 28.02.2020.
Mr. Amit Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the respondent no.1 submits that the demand draft was deposited, but inadvertently it was not deposited in the name of the Registrar General of this Court and only the name of Registrar was provided in the said demand draft and that is why it has not been encashed. The said inadvertence was communicated to the learned counsel for respondent no.1 in the midst of the year 2021. He further submits that now the correct demand draft is ready and he will deposit the same before the Registrar General of this Court, in course of the day.
In view of the above facts, the prayer for extension of time for deposition of demand draft is allowed.
Accordingly, I.A. No. 6815 of 2021 stands disposed of.
