Judgment
This criminal petition is filed under Sections 437 and 439 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking regular bail by petitioner/A2 in connection
with Crime No.150 of 2021 on the file of Narsapur Prohibition and Excise Station, Sangareddy District, registered for the offence punishable under
Section 8(c) r/w. 22 (c) Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Learned counsel for the petitioner/A2 submits that there are apparent contradictions in the panchanama regarding weight of the contraband and
transfers of the amounts. The case is foisted only for statistical purpose against the petitioner/A2 who is resident of Madhya Pradesh and in no way
concerned with any crime.
On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the commercial quantity of alprazolam was recovered from the possession of
the petitioner/A2.
At this stage, Ms. G. Jaya Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner/A2, prayed for permission to withdraw the Criminal Petition.
Permission is accorded and the Criminal Petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.
