P. Sam Koshy, J

1.

The limited grievance that the petitioner has in the instant case is that the petitioners have already raised a complaint before respondent No.3 under

Section 54 of The Waqf Act, 1995 and notice by the respondent No.3 have already been issued. However, though almost one year have lapsed till

date no substantial progress has been made in the said proceedings. Therefore, counsel for the petitioner prays for appropriate direction to the

respondent No.3 for an expeditious conclusion of the proceedings on the complaint lodged by the petitioners.

2.

The said limited request made by the petitioner is not objected to by the counsels appearing for respondent No.1 to 3.

3.

Given the fact that request made by the petitioners is only for expeditious conclusion on the proceedings drawn under Section 54 of The Waqf Act,

1995 at the behest of the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition itself can be disposed of at motion stage directing respondent No.3

to take an appropriate decision on the proceedings initiated by the respondent No.3 on the complaint made by the petitioners at the earliest preferably

within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.

With the above direction/observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.
