The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers : -

“(A) Issue a writ, order or direction directing the Court of learned Uttarakhand Waqf Tribunal, Garhwal Mandal, Dehradun to decide and conclude the proceedings of Waqf Petition No.5 of 2024 – Narendra Kumar Janveja and Another vs. Hena Hasan Desai and Another, very very expeditiously, within stipulated time which this Hon’ble Court deem fit and proper in facts and circumstances of the case.

(B) Issue any other order or direction which this Hon’ble High Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

(C) To award cost of the petition to the petitioner.”

Heard Mr. Neeraj Garg, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Vinay Bhatt, learned counsel for the respondent no.3.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Uttarakhand Waqf Tribunal, Garhwal Mandal, Dehradun is directed to decide the said petition (Waqf Petition No.5 of 2024) as per law, as expeditiously as possible and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition (WPMS No. 690 of 2025) is disposed of in the aforesaid term.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case.
