This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking release on first twenty days’ parole.

Submissions have been made that earlier the application filed by the petitioner was rejected by the District Parole Advisory Committee in its meeting dated 26.03.2021, against which the petitioner filed a D.B. Criminal Writ Petition No.300/2021, which was decided on 01.09.2021 upholding rejection of parole with a liberty to the petitioner to renew the prayer for parole after a period of two years from the date of recovery of prohibited articles from him. Again an application has been moved on 07.12.2022, which hasn’t been decided by the respondents.

A reply to the petition has been filed seeking to dispute the entitlement of the petitioner to seek parole.

However, the application filed by the petitioner seeking parole has yet not been decided by the District Parole Advisory Committee.

In that view of the matter, the petition filed by the petitioner is disposed of. The District Parole Advisory Committee, Pali is directed to decide the pending application of the petitioner within a period of ten days from the date of this order by way of speaking order.
