Judgment
This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner claims himself to be vendee of the original tenant, by filing the present Writ Petition, has sought for a direction to opposite party No.1-Collector and District Magistrate, Khurda to consider and dispose of the pending OEA Case No.1 of 2017 in a time bound manner.
Mr. A.R. Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate referring to the extract of the zimni orders passed by the opposite party No.1 Collector and District Magistrate, Khurda at page 30 & 31, points out that it is the petitioner himself, who is delaying the conclusion of the proceedings by not appearing on the dates fixed by opposite party no.1.
Be that as it may, we deem it proper to dispose of the present Writ Petition by passing the following direction.
Opposite party no.1-Collector & District Magistrate, Khurda is directed to consider and dispose the aforesaid pending OEA Case No.1 of 2017, filed by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from today, subject to the petitioner cooperate in the proceedings.
The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms..
