Judgment
The applicant joined the services of the Central Social Welfare Board (CSWB) in the year 1982 and he continued to work there, until he retired on 30.04.2016. His grievance is that the respondents are not acceding to his request/claim for medical reimbursement.
The applicant contends that in this behalf, he has been making letters/representations to the respondents and the latest of such letters/representations were made by him on 27.04.2020, 15.06.2020, 01.10.2020, 23.10.2020, 22.02.2021, 22.04.2021 and these letters/representations were followed by a legal notice dated 10.06.2021. However, the same are still pending with the respondents.
Today, I heard Mr. Deepak Jain, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. H.K. Gangwani, learned counsel for the respondents, at the stage of admission, through video conferencing.
At the outset, Mr. Deepak Jain, learned counsel for the applicant, submits that the applicant will be satisfied, if his letters/representations dated 27.04.2020, 15.06.2020, 01.10.2020, 23.10.2020, 22.02.2021, 22.04.2021 followed by a legal notice dated 10.06.2021 are considered and decided by the respondents in a time bound manner.
Accordingly, the present OA is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the letters/representations of the applicant dated 27.04.2020, 15.06.2020, 01.10.2020, 23.10.2020, 22.02.2021, 22.04.2021 followed by a legal notice dated 10.06.2021 by passing a detailed and speaking order, as early as possible, and in any case not later than two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. This shall be done without any prejudice to the rights of the respondents. There shall be no order as to costs.
