Judgment
This transfer petition has been filed to transfer Crl.Appeal Nos.313/2019 and 315/2019 on the file of the VI Additional District and Sessions Court, Ernakulam to any other court.
The transfer has been sought on the ground that the respondent is a practicing lawyer in Ernakulam. Without making any comment on the allegations, I am of the view that, in fairness, it is proper that the appeals are transferred to any other court in Ernakulam.
Hence, both Crl. Appeal Nos. 313/2019 and 315/2019 are withdrawn from the VI Additional District and Sessions Court, Ernakulam and transferred to the Additional Sessions Court, Muvattupuzha. Since the matter is of the year 2019, the learned Additional Sessions Judge shall dispose of the appeals as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned Additional Sessions Judge shall consider the interim application, if any, filed for interim maintenance without much delay. The VI Additional District and Sessions Court, Ernakulam shall transmit the entire files within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to the Additional Sessions Court, Muvattupuzha. Both parties shall appear at the Additional Sessions Court, Muvattupuzha on 3/8/2022.
