While allowing the bail application filed by the petitioners, this Court directed on 19.04.2024 that the petitioners shall appear before the Investigating Officer within ten days from the date of that order.
In the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petitioners seek an extension of time for their surrender before the Investigating Officer, stating the reason that the order dated 19.04.2024 referred to above, was uploaded belatedly and hence they could not comply with the aforesaid condition.
Having regard to the above reason stated by the petitioners for their failure to surrender before the Investigating Officer in accordance with condition No.1 of Annexure-A1 order, I deem it appropriate to grant a further period of seven days from today for the petitioners to surrender before the Investigating Officer in accordance with condition No.1 of Annexure-A1 order of this Court.
The petition stands allowed as above.
