Judgment

The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner praying for a direction upon the respondent-authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground in place of his deceased mother who died in harness on 08.04.2010.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though he has filed application well within time and also preferred representation before the concerned respondent but no decision has been taken till date.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the instant writ application may be disposed of by directing the petitioner to approach respondent no.5 so that he will look into the matter and take a decision.
Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the petitioner to approach respondent no.5-Project Officer, Sudamdih Coal Washery BCCL, PO and PS-Sudamdih, District-Dhanbad within a period of four weeks by filing a representation. If any representation is preferred within the aforesaid stipulated period the respondent no.5 shall pass an order with regard to the claim of the petitioner within a further period of eight weeks.
With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
