Judgment

The petitioner, who is working as a Principal, in Government Senior Secondary School, Kiari, P.O. Chakli, District Sirmaur, H.P., w.e.f. 09.11.2016, has come up before this Court seeking his transfer from a rural area to one of the stations of his choice, due to adverse family circumstances.
Notice. Ms. Rita Goswami, learned Additional Advocate General appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondent.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition can be disposed of by issuing a direction to the respondent-State to consider the representation (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner for his transfer to one of the stations of choice mentioned in Para 9 as well as in prayer clause of the representation.
Learned Additional Advocate General does not dispute the fact of the petitioner having completed his normal tenure at the present place of posting, as per transfer policy.
Given the factual matrix of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-State to consider the representation (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner for his transfer to one of the stations of his choice mentioned in para 9 as well as in prayer clause of the representation, in the light of the transfer policy occupying the field, and pass appropriate orders within four weeks from today. Pending application(s), if any, are closed.
