The petitioner, who is a Trained Graduate Teacher (Medical), has come up before this Court seeking his transfer from a tribal area to one of the stations of his choice as per the transfer policy applicable in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
Notice. Mr. Adarsh Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition can be disposed of by issuing a direction to the respondent-State to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer to one of the stations of his choice mentioned in para (V) of the writ petition. Learned Additional Advocate General does not dispute the fact of the petitioner having completed his normal tenure i.e. two winters and three summers in the tribal area.
In view of the factual matrix of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-State to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer to one of the stations of his choice mentioned in para (V) of the writ petition, within four weeks from today. The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
