This Contempt Case is filed alleging that the respondents did not implement the order dated 20.12.2019 passed in OA No.4328/2019.
We heard Shri M. K. Bhardwaj, learned counsel for the applicant and Shri R. V. Sinha with Shri Amit Sinha, learned counsel for the respondents.
The contempt case has undergone several stages. The direction issued in the OA was for preparation of seniority list and for extending the consequential benefits. The seniority list was published and consequential benefits were also extended to certain level. As a matter of fact, the Tribunal passed a detailed order on 20.12.2019 by issuing certain directions.
The respondents filed Writ Petition No.661/2020 and the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi was pleased to allow the same vide its judgment dated 23.09.2020. It was left open to the applicant to work out his remedies in subsequent proceedings.
We, therefore, close the Contempt Case, leaving it open to the applicant to work out his remedies in accordance with law.
