The petitioner is permitted to file the instant special leave petition.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, we are of the view, that the impugned order passed by the High Court calls for no interference whatsoever. It is however necessary for us to observe, that the investigation ordered by the High Court shall be conducted independently by the CB CID, North Zone, uninfluenced by any of the observations recorded by the High Court.
Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

It is however necessary for us to observe, that the District Registrar(Administration), Chennai North, while adjudicating upon the show cause notice to Pastor John Amulraj, as to why his marriage licence should not be cancelled, shall take an independent decision, uninfluenced by any of the observations recorded by the High Court.
