Judgment
Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari, J
The petitioner by way of present petition seeks the following directions:-
(i) To issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondent No.2 to decide the petitioner's application for grant of regular permit (Annexure P/2) on the route Jabalpur to Nagpur expeditiously some prescribed time as fixed by this Hon'ble High Court.
( i i ) Any other appropriate orders against respondents be issued in favour of the petitioner with cost of the petition.
Having regard to the relief sought, the provisions contained under Section 80 of the Act of 1988 and the law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Mithilesh Garg v. Union of India and others: AIR 1992 SC 443 , without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the application, if any, preferred by the petitioner, as contained in Annexure P/2 within a period of 30 days from the date of communication of this order.
With the aforesaid, this petition stands disposed of.
