Judgment
ORDER:
Admit.
Respondent is allowed six weeks to file reply. Rejoinder, if any, be filed within three weeks thereafter.
At the outset, Mr. Sumit Rai, learned advocate for the SEBI submitted that the facts of this case are similar to Nilratan Suppliers Private Limited v. SEBI (Appeal No. 282 of 2026).
Learned advocate for the appellant submitted that the facts are not exactly similar to Appeal No. 282 of 2026. In this case, the appellant has repaid the money within one year.
This appeal is one of the cases in a batch of appeals. In similar cases, we have directed stay of the impugned order subject to deposit of full penalty.
There shall be stay of the impugned order subject to deposit of full penalty within four weeks from today and the same shall be kept in an interest bearing account.
Post this appeal along with Appeal No. 238 of 2026 on December 9, 2026.
