ORDER:

Sri D. Omkar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not in contact with him. On the last adjournment also, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that appropriate orders may be passed.

Learned counsel for the Respondent No.2 submitted that the petitioner challenged the proceedings in C.C.No.07 of 2020 pending on the file of the Special Magistrate Court, Prathipadu, East Godavari District and having obtained stay in the year 2022, the petitioner has not been coming forward. The main case is filed for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

As seen from the record, the case is of the year 2020. Having obtained stay, the petitioner has not been coming forward to submit arguments. It shows that the petitioner has no interest to prosecute the petition.

In the result, this Criminal Petition is dismissed for non prosecution.

As a sequel, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
