Parul Prasad vs State Of Bihar And Ors

The petitioner has prayed for following relief(s):

“1(i) For a direction to the Respondents, particularly, the State of Bihar to follow the directions and guidelines laid down by the Government of

India and the (National Institution for Transforming India Aayog (hereinafter referred to as NITI Aayog) for allowing the Civil Society Organizations

(hereinafter referred to as CSO) and Non Governmental Organizations (hereinafter referred to as NGO) which wants to aid and supplement the

efforts of the State and administration in extending their help to the needy section of societies;

(ii) For a direction to permit the representative/s of the CSOs/NGOs to accompany the officials of the State so as to have transparency in the

distribution of relief materials provided by the CSOs which raised the funds and are accountable for its utilization to the funding agency;

(iii) For a direction to appoint Nodal Officer at the State Level/District Level to co-ordinate and regulate the work with the CSOs/NGOs;

(iv) For a direction to the State Respondents to ensure that the arrangement of food and other essential articles are made in the Orphanages, Old Age

Homes and Shelter Homes for the disabled persons as highlighted in a news article reported in Times of India, Patna on 15.04.2020 and/or for any

other relief(s) for which the Petitioner may be found entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the present case.â€​

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition in the light of observations/directions made by this Court on

16.12.2020 in C.W.J.C. No. 7135 of 2020, titled as Dinesh Kumar Singh vs. The State of Bihar & Ors.

Permission granted.

The instant petition stands disposed of as withdrawn. The directions contained in judgment dated 16.12.2020 passed in C.W.J.C. No.

7135 of 2020, titled as Dinesh Kumar Singh vs. The State of Bihar & Ors. shall also govern the instant case mutatis mutandi.

Interlocutory Application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
