objection if this application is allowed.

This writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus to the

respondents to issue appointment letter to the petitioner on the post of

System Officer on the basis of selection list prepared in response to

advertisement No.1/2010, category No.15.

Learned counsel for respondent No.3 states that the petitioner

was called on 3.3.2017 with the original documents. Counsel for the

petitioner accepts that and states that the petitioner appeared on 3.3.2017.

It cannot be lost sight of that the petitioner was selected as far

back as 2013 and till date no final decision has been taken. Since the

petitioner had appeared before the respondents on 3.3.2017, the respondents

already have had a period of three weeks to consider the documents

submitted by the petitioner. In the circumstances, the respondents are

directed to take a final decision regarding the appointment of the petitioner

on or before 31.3.2017, and in case the petitioner is found entitled to it,

issue appointment letter to him on or before that date.

This petition stands disposed of.

Since the main case has been decided, the pending C.Ms, if

any, also stand disposed of.
