Judgment

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner aggrieved against the order dated 7.3.2022 (Annex.4), whereby, the petitioner has been assigned duties of Booth Level Officer (BLO).
Submissions have been made that qua the order of appointment, the Principal of petitioner's school has sent communications Annex.5 & Annex.6 to the SDM, Nohar, who is the Electoral Registration Officer regarding changing the assignment given to the petitioner as BLO for the reasons indicated therein, however, the SDM, Nohar, has not passed any order on the same despite the fact that specific genuine reasons have been indicated by the Principal of the School with regard to the wrong appointment of the petitioner as BLO.
In the circumstances of the case, wherein, the communications Annex.5 & Annex.6 sent by the Principal of the School are still pending consideration before the SDM, Nohar, who is the Electoral Registration Officer, he is directed to decide the pending communications sent by the Principal of petitioner's school within a period of 10 days from the date a copy of this order is placed before him.
The petitioner / Principal would be free to file a fresh detailed representation in this regard before the said authority.
With the above directions, the petition filed by the petitioner stands disposed of.
