Judgment
Per: Dr. Lata Baswaraj Patne, Judicial Member.
Ld. Counsel for the respondents Dr. D. Chowdhury is present and heard. None appears for the applicant.
Mr. P.C. Das, Ld. Counsel for the applicant submits that he has no brief in this matter and had been appeared as a proxy Counsel on behalf of the applicant. Therefore, he is not appearing in this matter and requested to delete his name from the applicant’s advocate column.
Ld. Counsel for the respondents submits that the applicant is not appearing for a long time and prays that the matter may be dismissed.
We have noticed that the applicant had last appeared on 06.02.2020.
We have also noticed that the applicant had not appeared on 10.11.2020, 14.01.2021 and 24.03.2021. Even today, none have appeared on behalf of the applicant despite repeated calls.
It seems that the applicant had lost his interest in pursuing the matter.
The Original Application is accordingly dismissed invoking Rule 15(1) of CAT Procedure Rules, 1987. There shall be no order as to costs.
