Judgment

Heard Mr. Mayonkui Ngalung, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.
Issue notice returnable by 3rd April, 2023.
Mr. A. Bheigya Meitei, learned counsel assisting learned AG, Manipur enters appearance and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, hence, no formal notice is called for.
It has been submitted by the learned AG that the State Government has already filed preliminary affidavit in the earlier writ petition being WP(C) No. 242 of 2023 which has been posted for hearing on 3rd April, 2023 and that the present writ petition can also be posted on the said date along with the said writ petition for final hearing. Learned AG further submitted that the State respondents will file preliminary affidavit within two days with advance copy to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.
As prayed for, list this case again on 3rd April, 2023 along with WP(C) No. 242 of 2023.
As an interim measure and till the next date, operation of the impugned order dated 06-03-2023 shall remain stayed.
