MA.No.1454/2020 is filed with a prayer to take up the OA for hearing on priority basis. The MA is accordingly allowed.
We heard Shri Shri Sachin Chauhan, learned counsel for the applicant and Ms. Harvinder Oberoi, learned counsel for the respondents.
The entire controversy in the OA is about regularization of occupation of a Government accommodation, by the applicant. It is stated that the father of the applicant was allotted the Government accommodation and on being employed in the same organization, the applicant is entitled to retain the same.
An important development has taken place during the pendency of the OA. It is stated that through order dated 26.08.2020, the respondents have regularized the occupation of the Government accommodation by the applicant w.e.f. 02.03.2017, the date on which she was appointed.
With that, the grievance of the applicant stood redressed. The OA is accordingly disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
