This is the petition/application under Section 29(A)(4) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 ( hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’), filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking an extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal in the arbitration proceedings titled “M/s. Kamac - Shiva Harlalka JV vs. NHIDCL & Anr.” bearing reference no.DIAC/8260/05-24 for a further period of one year from the date of appointment of the Arbitral Tribunal i.e. 16.03.2026.

Having regard the fact that in O.M.P. (T) (COMM.) 33/2026, this Court has passed orders substituting the learned Sole Arbitrator, it would be appropriate and in the interests of justice, to extend the period of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal under Section 29(A)(4) of the Act by another nine months with effect from 16.03.2026. Ordered accordingly.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of.
