Judgment
Alok Kumar Verma, J
The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:-
“i) A writ, order or direction commanding the 1st Additional Senior Civil Judge, Haridwar for expeditious proceedings of Original Suit No.50 of 2018, “Gagan Agarwal Versus M/S Ganga Builders and others” pending before 1st Additional Senior Civil Judge and conclude the same within a period of two months.
ii) Issue any other writ, order or direction, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case.
iii) Award the cost of the petition to the petitioner.”
Heard Mr. Jasmeet Sahota, learned counsel for the petitioner.
The prayer made by the petitioner is an innocuous prayer. Therefore, the learned 1st Additional Senior Civil Judge, Haridwar is directed to expedite the proceedings of Original Suit No.50 of 2018, (“Gagan Agarwal Versus M/S Ganga Builders and Others”) and decide the same as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any party.
The Writ Petition (WPMS No.1004 of 2024) stands disposed of accordingly.
