Judgment
Alok Kumar Verma, J
The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:-
“i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Civil Judge, Junior Division, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar to decide the Original Suit No.33 of 2022, “Rohit Kumar versus Ved Prakash and others”, as early as possible without giving unnecessary adjournment.
ii) Issue any other order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.”
Heard Mr. Pankaj Tangwan, learned counsel for the petitioner.
The prayer made by the petitioner is an innocuous prayer. Therefore, the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar is directed to expedite the proceedings of Original Suit No.33 of 2022, (“Rohit Kumar versus Ved Prakash and Another”) and decide the same as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any party.
The Writ Petition (WPMS No.1008 of 2024) stands disposed of accordingly.
