Judgment
We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the review applicants and Mr Sai Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the Telangana State Pollution Control Board (Board).
The learned counsel appearing for the review applicant would submit that after filing of the review application, the Board has passed orders in the application filed by M/s. Diamond Steel Re-Rolling Mill, the applicant in Review Application No.3 of 2017 and the same order has been passed in the application filed by M/s. Venkateswara Steel Industries, the applicant in Review Application No.4 of 2017 and orders are likely to be passed in respect of other applicants also. The order rejects the proposal of the applicants for 'consent' under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and the applicants are taking steps for approaching the learned Appellate Authority for redressal against the said orders of rejection.
In view of the subsequent development of passing of orders by the Board and the action to be taken by the applicants before the Appellate Authority, we are of the view that no orders are required in the review applications.
Accordingly, the review applications are dismissed.
While disposing of the Appeal Nos.106 to 112 of 2016 in our order dated 25.1.2017 we have requested the learned Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeals expeditiously. It is informed that the appeals are unable to be taken up due to the pendency of these review applications. We reiterate our request and hope that the learned Appellate Authority will take up the appeals and pass appropriate final orders expeditiously.
