Judgment
In this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 103 of the Constitution of J&K State, the petitioners inter
alia seek a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to extend the benefit of a judgment passed in SWP Nos.2645/2012 and 2609/2012 dated
10.11.2017 to the petitioners, as they are similarly situated persons.
After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners would feel satisfy, if their representation (Annexure-N) is
decided by the respondents, in terms of a common judgment passed by this Court in SWP Nos.2645/2012 and 2609/2012 dated 10.11.2017 within
certain time frame. Mrs. Seema Shekhar, learned Sr. AAG submits that she has no objection in case the said representation is decided in accordance
with law. Â
In view of the aforesaid submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation (Annexure-N)
contended to be filed by the petitioners in terms of a judgment passed by this Court in SWP Nos.2645/2012 and 2609/2012 dated 10.11.2017 if the
same is applicable to the case of the petitioners and of course in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of
certified copy of the order passed today.
With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of.
