Judgment
S. Siri Jagan, J.—The petitioner is a Junior Public Health Nurse. According to the petitioner, her promotion as Lady Health Inspector is due from 1.4.2010. The petitioner is fully qualified for such promotion. According to the petitioner, the petitioner''s rank in Ext.P1 is serial No. 2592 and in W.P. (C) No. 16448/2010 filed by other similarly placed petitioners, the Government had submitted before this Court that promotion process is underway and the persons at serial Nos. 2932 to 2660 would be promoted soon, as evidenced by Ext.P3. The petitioner has not been granted any promotion, is the grievance of the petitioner. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has filed Ext.P2 representation before the 2nd respondent. The petitioner seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 expeditiously.
I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.
Having heard both sides, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment. While doing so, the 2nd respondent shall consider Ext.P3 judgment of this Court also.
