Judgment
Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J.—These writ petitions are filed with the similar set of prayers and one such set of the main prayers in CWP No. 1583 of 2012 reads as follows:-
(b) Impugned selection dated 29.02.2012 of respondent No. 6 for the post of Secretary may kindly be quashed and set aside.
(c) Direction may kindly be issued to the respondent No. 1 & 2 to initiate fresh section process of Secretary in respondent No. 3 society and after fair interview, as required under law, suitable and deserving being meritorious candidate may kindly be selected.
Evidently the petitioners are aggrieved by the conduct of the 3rd respondent-Society. The petitioners have a remedy before the Registrar of the Cooperative Societies. The Registrar of the Cooperative Societies will stand impleaded as additional 7th respondent. In the event of the petitioners approaching the 7th respondent, the matter will be duly considered by the said authority. Needless to say, the petitioners and respondents No. 3 to 6 will also be afforded an opportunity to participate in the proceedings. Thereafter, appropriate orders will be passed within another four months.
The writ petitions are disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
