In this petition, petitioners seek for the following reliefs:

“a) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to re fix the CET 2025 examination dates avoiding the holy festival days such as unavoidable religious ceremonies and to participate in crucial exams, as evident in Press Notification NO.ED/KEA/ADMN/CR-02/2025-26 dated 22.01.2025 a true copy is produced at Annexure-A.

b) Pass any other order or writ this Hon’ble Court deems fit to grant in the nature and circumstances of case to meet the ends of justice.”

After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petition may be disposed of as withdrawn reserving liberty in favour of the petitioners to submit appropriate representations to both respondent Nos.1 and 2, who may be directed to consider the same within the stipulated time frame.

Submission of the learned counsel is placed on record.

Writ petition stands disposed of reserving liberty in favour of the petitioners to submit an appropriate representations to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 within a period of one week from today. If such a representation is submitted, the respondent Nos.1 and 2 shall consider the same and take appropriate decision in accordance with law, on or before 17.03.2025.
